This painting is titled Jezabel Valkaria.
When we look back at the legend of the 300 Spartans, we often focus on the men at the front lines. But the true foundation of that warrior culture was the strength of the Spartan mothers. They were the ones who forged the spirit of those men, famously telling them to return "with your shield, or on it."
Jezabel Valkaria is a cartography of that specific frequency—the raw, foundational power of the feminine spirit that dictates the "Quantum Circle of Circumstances."
In this work, I’m exploring the intersection of the biblical and the mythic. I’ve merged the defiant energy of Jezebel with the selective authority of the Valkyrie. She isn't just a participant in the narrative; she is the architect of the warrior. The vibrant blue skin represents a shift into the psychological landscape of Neodelphia, where identity is fluid but the spirit remains grounded in ancient strength.
The katana isn't just held; it’s an extension of her will. Surrounded by the names of the old gods—Hades, Oshun, Aphrodite—she stands as the bridge between the divine and the disciplined.
This piece is a reminder that behind every historic display of courage is a wellspring of strength that chose, raised, and prepared it.
