Here's the first of a new series of paintings and haiku with the theme of the Orisha. The painting is called "Yemoja" and the haiku is entitled, "(Monday). The poem reads:
(Monday)
when facing a white canvas
how far can color take us
with brush in hand, we shall see

Vor einer weissen Leinwand
wie weit kann uns die Farbe tragen?
