Philadelphia Mary From Dungloe The Philadelphia Mary from Dungloe is a competition for young women who are Irish or of Irish decent She will attend local events such as:

Philadelphia St.

Sponsored by the Donegal Association of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Mary from Dungloe has been active for over 30 years. Chosen on the first Saturday in December at the annual Donegal Ball, the winner will be a representitive of the Philadelphia Irish Community for a year. Patrick's Day Parade

The summer following the Philadelphia Mary selection, our selected Mary will represent Philadelphia at the Mary from Dungloe International Arts & Culture Festival. Her flight and entry fee will be paid for by the Donegal Society of Philadelphia. For more info on the International Festival, visit https://www.maryfromdungloe.ie/

Applications for the December selection will become available the first week of September every year, and will be available on this page as well as:
