Hellebores, Tulips and Grape Hyacinth. Acrylic on canvas. This was a witchy painting! I was conjuring spring with this. Yesterday it rained and was grey and chilly. Today, as I worked for another 7 hours to finish this piece, the birds sang a concert, the sun sparkles and the flowers bloomed. A gorgeous spring day! Message me to purchase .

I made a u-turn and drive back home. I had been driving through Art neighbor that I didn’t belong in. So I reached out to my friend and he have me his advice. He said “ Oh! You’re in a rut. Snap out of it!” (Like Cher in Moonstruck.) So I drive back home to the beginning, to what I love to paint, and I stopped trying to be like some other artist confection and took my friends advice and shook it all off and snapped out of it. I can’t be anyone but myself. I keep trying but it never works. Trust yourself. Trust the timing of the universal powers. And paint your hearts desire, not the markets whims.
