Set within a Black megachurch community, the play examines internalized homophobia, secrecy, faith, and desire through the unraveling of a carefully negotiated arrangement between a married couple and a graduate student.

The third and final play in “The Philly Cycle” shines a light on Philadelphia nurses working in reproductive health and gender-affirming care, exploring the emotional realities of caregiving within an unforgiving healthcare system and turbulent political climate.
