This Saturday May 16th, I will be once again performing a new song at for a shot at prize money that I will be donating to a worthy charity (tbd)...

There will be an absolute ton of performers doing all sorts of types of exciting and interesting acts, and a live band playing throughout the night.

I'm getting ready for the monthly literary art performance series and open mic, hosted by , where I am fortunate enough to be playing a featured set this month!

There will be a group of intriguing presenters:

Jung and Ancient Chinese Thoughts, Yuan Lin, Independent Scholar, Psychotherapist

Jason Mitchell, whose poems have appeared in Hi Zero (UK), Stolen Island, Court Green, Jupiter 88, and elsewhere. He hosts and coordinates the Philadelphia reading series Frank O’Hara’s Last Lover in the Rose Room at Snockey’s Oyster and Crab House.

Spent a while developing this ultra portable pedal board so I can get on and off stage as fast and cheap as possible. Please also enjoy my feet pics, you're welcome.

1. Boring laptop bag for small form factor - basically free
2. Rechargeable battery to power everything without using house power - $30
3. RC3 looper and sample player with 99 slots and 6 hours for recording and playback -$50 used
4. The best value/space savings multi effects pedal for compression, noise reduction, reverb, delay, octave, distortion, ms50g - $80 used
4. A chocolate plus midi based extension controller to make switching between multiple effect pedal patches much simpler (though programming it was a bit tricky) - $40
5. A home made reverse engineered extension pedal for the looper to have single button stop and slot switching - $10

I'm not a gear guy, per se, but I like solving problems and this does a lot without being flashy, plush my cat likes sleeping in it.
