The outstanding Merion Concert Band returns for the 25th year to Gorgas Park.

Over 50 musicians play beautiful music on their various instruments at the Gazebo.

The fine big band leader directs the musicians. Gorgeous music will fill the air beginning at 7.

One full set of music will be played for the pleasure of attendees who love their country and appreciate great music.

Everyone is welcome.

It was a great day at the park for the annual Summer Solstice Music Festival and Beer Garden ... thanks to all of our volunteers who make the event possible!

Today's wonderful volunteers arrived from far away Norman, Oklahoma.

They joined Friends of Gorgas Park through the nonprofit organization Project Philly.

4 hours of outstanding gardening took place - spreading compost, planting, mulching and tending our Park's beautiful Gardens.

This spring and early summer well over 200 people- students, teachers, young & old adults from the neighborhood -have donated several hundred volunteer hours toward maintaining our splendid Central Park in Roxborough Manayunk.

Our Visitors enjoyed the work - and our community very much.

A Fun, Productive effort helped make our Community & Park even more beautiful this June 10th.

21st Ward Veteran's Association held its annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Gorgas Park. Rain or shine every year, we honor our fallen armed services members who gave up their lives in service to the nation.
