LONGER POST BUT PLEASE READ: SHE GOT THE TRANSPLANT!
A close family friend is in urgent need of community support during a challenging time. Please help by sharing this message, posting it to your networks, and contributing if you are able. Any support is greatly appreciated.
On December 28, 2025, 38-year-old Kimberly, a mother of three girls, received a life-saving full liver transplant. She is recovering at the Mason Center for the next month, a true blessing in her health journey.
A GoFundMe campaign has been organized to help her and her family cover essential expenses such as bills, rent, gas, and food. Her husband has taken on the role of her primary caregiver and cannot leave her side, so we are trying to alleviate their stress and ensure they have a secure home to return to after her recovery.
Their two younger daughters, who live at home, are currently being cared for by Kimberly's sister, Amanda. In a separate tragedy, Amanda and her family lost everything in a house fire on September 17 and are currently in temporary housing, yet they are still selflessly caring for everyone.
With Kimberly's ongoing recovery, the last thing this family needs is the added stress and fear of losing their home. This entire family has endured immense tragedy this past year.
No donation is too small and every single contribution is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate at this time, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
You can visit the GoFundMe page to make a contribution or learn more. If you would rather contribute directly, here are some other options. Her mother is managing their finances.
