Christmas at Moon Lake is a tradition for many area families. We kick off the season at Moon Lake with a special night of family fun including live music, puppet shows, pony rides, hay rides and much more. The lake is decorated with beautiful lighted displays that transform our lake (Moon Lake) into a magical Christmas Wonderland and stay lit through the holidays. Free to the public. The only thing better than a carnival is a CHRISTMAS carnival! On December 10 at 4pm EST Phenix City is hosting a Christmas Carnival at Moon Lake/Idle Hour! This will include carnival rides, a hay ride, live entertainments, and a food court. Santa will also be in attendance! Admission is free, although some food or activities might charge a small fee. There will be a shuttle available to bring guests from the parking lots of Garrett Harrison Stadium or Idle Hour Sports Complex to the event. If you need more information, or want to volunteer or sponsor, call Phenix City Parks & Rec at 334-291-4719!
