🇺🇸 Nomas imagínate que ya recibiste tu último chequeson en el norte, te lanzas Devolada al mall y vas bien decidido a partirle en su madr3 a todo el cheke, con una sonrisa en tu rostro empiezas a tomar los regalitos para tu familia, unos juguetes para los niños y un Ching0 de ropita, que no falten los regalos para los jefes y unos estrenos para la reynota, ya con el boleto de regreso comprado te pones arreglar las maletas con unas rolitas a todo lo que dan y unas bien heladas, la sensación es indescriptible y sientes que el reloj no avanza, la piel se pone chinita porque se ah llegado la hora de volver a casa, los mejores trapos, calz0n nuevo, bien perfumado y bien peinado, eso sí desvelado porque no pudiste dormir nada nomás de estar pensando, maletas documentadas, boletos en mano y Pasajeros con destino a Mexico, favor de
abrochar sus cinturones……. hemos aterrizado,

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

The City of Pharr is advising residents and motorists of a gas leak on the Eastbound Frontage Road along Interstate 2. As a safety measure, both main lanes and frontage roads from Cage Blvd to Jackson Road are closed. The Edinburg to McAllen overpass will also be closed. Traffic in the affected areas will be rerouted, and detours are in place to aid in traffic flow.

We urge the public to avoid this area if possible. Crews are working diligently to address the situation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Please exercise caution, drive safely, and remain patient as we resolve the situation. Your safety is our top priority.

*Elections in Texas: The Latino community in the Rio Grande Valley turned out to vote in a trouble-free day. The police presence at polling stations contributed to a peaceful and secure election day. Voters expressed their satisfaction with the process, highlighting the importance of their participation in local and state political decisions. The elections included voting for various local offices and law proposals that will directly impact the community.

*Identification of a man in McAllen: A man found in a motel in McAllen has been identified. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case.

*Resignation in Mission: The fire chief of Mission has resigned from her position. Details about her resignation are still emerging.

*Fine Amnesty in McAllen: This month, McAllen is offering a fine amnesty, allowing residents to settle their debts without additional penalties.

September 11th, 2001 was one of the worst days our country has ever seen. I still remember exactly where I was and seeing the second plane hit the towers. May we never forget the 2,977 lives lost and the thousands more that suffered for the rest of the lives from injuries.

Today, we remember those that lost their lives and honor the American heroes, our firefighters, EMTs and police officers, that ran towards the towers when everyone was running away from them. God bless all of them and may we never forget them.🇺🇸
