Day One Pigment in the books! I am grateful to have taken a class taught by KAHA Katarzyna Górska. While I'm certain I didn't follow instructions given. I was given an introduction to other forms of contrast.Thank you Amanda J Lowe for putting up with my obsession, and joining me this weekend!

Behold! Valerian Seedkeeper, the Rodent Redeemer. This mighty pipsqueak is charging into battle with their Greatsword of the Squeak! They want to prove to other animals that good things do come in small packages. I'm happy to have gotten them completed just in time for !

Some traditions are better not ignored.

They say the Yule Cat comes out when the snow falls thickest, silent, patient, and hungry. It doesn’t chase. It doesn’t have to. It just waits, watching for anyone who was careless… or forgotten.

No new clothes. No protection.

And when the night gets quiet enough, it comes.

They say if you don’t get new clothes for Christmas, something is waiting in the snow…

There’s something unsettling about a predator in the cold. Everything feels muted except the threat.

I wanted this piece to feel like a story paused mid breath… right before you realize you’re being watched.
