It is a sad heavy day for St. Louis.

Fortune Teller Bar Closing at the End of 2024

Fortune Teller Bar has been a home for the strange and spooky for over a decade.

“This was “my” bar when I first moved to St. Louis in 2017. Matt Thenhaus and team created a space that welcomed weirdos and celebrated the strange,” said Owner Ryan Schepers. “My now-spouse and I had our first date here, and we held our wedding reception here. It’s always been a space filled with love and acceptance, and I’m proud to have continued that for our friends on Cherokee and for the broader community.”

Fortune Teller Bar’s final night of services will be on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31st. Fourth City BBQ will have their final service on December 21st. Other details about events, garage sale, etc. will be released in the coming days. Please join us in these last days of 2024 to celebrate and reminisce.
