As we step into the last days of May—and as this rare Blue Moon graces Sunday—I’m reminded that love is the most creative act.
Love is infinite. It moves through the places we think are impossible. And the greatest love of all is the one we choose to give ourselves—opening our hearts courageously, so we can remember how beautiful we truly are.
This month has felt like a gift, even when it came wrapped in our traumas, our pain, and the heaviness we carry from the past. Sometimes the “gift” is darkness—the kind that still holds us. But even in that darkness, we are not stuck. We are being met. We are being shaped. We are learning how to be with what hurts, without letting it be the only thing that defines us.
And that’s the beauty of the gift: it surprises us with growth. It invites us to keep evolving—our hearts expanding, our hands learning how to reach for more love.
Before June begins, I want to say thank you—to every single soul I’ve had the privilege to meet in Harbor Hall, and to everyone across Northern Michigan. Harbor Hall is a place I’m proud to call home.
As an Expressive Arts Therapist, I’ve been honored to witness how creativity becomes more than an activity—it becomes a doorway. I’ve met courageous people who inspire me to keep walking—especially when life feels dark. I’ve met supportive, thoughtful, loving, and genuinely caring hearts who welcomed me with open arms, making me feel like I belong.
Even when our paths only cross for a short time, I carry those moments with me. They never feel wasted—because you still live very much in my heart.
And to anyone who’s struggling right now: I hope the remaining half of 2026 brings you warmth, strength, and signs of better days. Please don’t lose faith in yourself—you’re closer than you think.
**Most of all, keep creating.**
Because every time you create, you’re moving forward—quietly, steadily, and on purpose.
I love you all.
And thank you for loving me. 💝🫰
