The Peterborough Dance Theatre is thrilled to welcome PDT Alum Miss Aria back to the dance class room, this time as a teacher! Aria Frehner (she/her) was born and raised in Hancock, New Hampshire. Aria’s early years of dance training happened at Peterborough Dance Theatre where she was mentored by Pati Cloutier and encouraged to try many styles and begin her choreographic journey. Three of the works she created during this time were accepted and showcased at Dance Northeast. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2024 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Dance. While there, she trained extensively with Shakia Barron in House and Hip Hop, and Barbie Diewald in Modern. Aria has also trained in Tap, Waacking, Ballet, Breaking, and Jazz. She has had the pleasure to perform in the repertory work of Balinda Craig-Quijada, Ellie Goudie-Averill, and Angelica Monterio. Aria has been teaching for two years at The Dance Studio of Wilbraham/Windsor Locks and Beyond Dance of Lynnfield. She is overjoyed to return to Peterborough Dance Theatre!
