~Heather-A view from the forest floor. I was really excited to do and learn about some flowers native to the area i haven’t had the chance to tattoo yet. Coltsfoot, bloodroot and of course trillium. I learned that coltsfoot are ACTUALLY the first spring flowers i see along my road and not dandelions! Also, i learned that bloodroot flowers bloom before the leaves and the leaves are wrapped around them like a blanket which is what i was portraying in this tattoo.

Honored to be chosen for this coverup of a old tribal band. We did a session of white and let it completely heal before going back in and working the cover. This allows for more options for the cover project and a technique i use often.
