The 2026 beer festival is presented by Petaluma Valley Rotary Club and Petaluma Sunrise Rotary Club. Taking place from 1 to 5 p.m. along the riverfront in downtown Petaluma, the festival offers attendees a chance to sample the refreshing liquid wares of a wide range of regional breweries.
There will be, as always, a lineup of live musical acts, and food from a number local restaurants. Proceeds support Petaluma school kids, seniors and unhoused people in the community through a series of nonprofit programs. Appropriately enough for a festival held alongside the Petaluma River, some proceeds are designated for projects that support enhancement and protection of the River and its wetlands.
Holders of a general admission ticket will receive a commemorative beer glass, which they can present at one of the booths to be filled with all manner of concoctions. Every taste comes with a chance to talk to the brewers and makers who created the beverage. Clearly, there is much more to do at the beer festival than just drink beer โ and also clearly, no one should drink and drive. So a limited number of designated-driver tickets will be offered, providing passholders with snacks and nonalcoholic beverages plus a $10 certificate to apply toward food booth purchases at the event. Attendance at the festival is only open to valid ID holders age 21 and up.
