I have been off FB for most of this year and I wanted to touch base once again. This year I have been working at improving my drawing skills. I found an online class that actually teaches just the techniques and critiques I have been needing to move my art up a few notches. What I have done first is to start by reworking some of my earlier practice pieces. Here are some of the results.

It amazes me and makes me very optimistic for my future that I am as busy as I am with my portraiture only through word of mouth with friends and work associates. As of yet I have never advertised and yet I currently have 5 pieces due by Christmas with another 3 due soon after. I can't show the works in progress because they will be gifts but it looks like I will have a way to supplement my retirement income once I offer portraiture full time. I can show a couple of recently finished/ delivered and a practice piece however .

It has been awhile since I have posted some of my work so be ready. I didn't do much for a year when I broke my hand in late 2021 but I am now back at it.

I am doing some with just one white pencil on black. It is challenging but I am enjoying it.
