Open every Friday and Saturday in October, with special one-night events on October 25 and Friday the 13th. Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse of Perrysville, Ohio has been providing haunted house frights to greater Northeast Ohio since 2016, attracting locals from Perrysville, Loudonville, Ashland County, and the Mohican region, city-dwellers from Cleveland and Columbus, and scare-seekers from throughou

t the United States. Originally built in 1924, the Perrysville School went through years of vacancy until it was resurrected as Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse in 2016. Once filled with the sounds of schoolchildren, the endless hallways of this school are now filled by the shrieks and screams of its newest inhabitants and their victims! Experience different realms of horror across Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse including the Dead & Breakfast, Contagion Industries, CarnEVIL, Slaughterville, and more! Terrors ranging from the walking dead, gruesome beasts, ghosts, serial killers, clowns, and more are looking forward to your visit this Halloween season! The Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is incredibly lucky to have so many talented young people helping us bring the screams year after year. Luke Elges is one of the best examples.

Luke is heading into his senior year at Ashland High School, but he has already made a big impact inside these walls. Beyond bringing one of our most loved characters to life in Dr. Lab Rat, Luke creates his own makeup and costumes, helps other actors with anything they need, and continues to grow as a talented young creative talent.

During his junior year, Luke created one hell of a short film with his media class based on Dr. Lab Rat. He entered it into the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition... and WON!

We could not be more proud of you, Luke. We cannot wait to see what you create next or what Dr. Lab Rat has planned for another killer season at the Schoolhouse.

And stay tuned. We will also be sharing another edit Luke created using footage from our Spring Scream promotional shoots. It's killer.
