Owens Radio Celebrating 10th Anniversary!

The Owens Community College Radio (OCCR) is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Monday, March 16.
To mark the occasion, OCCR and Owens OutComm Media Center staff will present a Retro Media static exhibit displayed throughout the SHAC Media Corridor from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
The exhibit will highlight the evolution of student media at Owens and honor the voices, creativity and collaboration that’s defined the first 10 years.

We are excited to share that we received an Ohio Artist on Tour Grant from the Ohio Arts Council! We are grateful to Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Legislature for supporting the arts in Ohio.
This grant will help support our first concert and workshop by pianist Gerardo Teissonnière. This concert is a part of the 10th Anniversary of the Accent on the Arts Series. Save the date for October 2nd at 4:30PM for the workshop and 7:30PM for the hour and a half of music!
We thank the Ohio Arts Council a thousand-fold for helping bring the arts to smaller communities in Ohio!

We are excited to announce that we are a recipient of the Ohio Artists on Tour grant from the Ohio Arts Council! 🎉🎉🎉This grant is helping us fund our free concert series, Accent on the Arts. The award is specifically going towards the workshop and performance of the Cleveland Celtic Ensemble which will be taking place on Thursday, October 3rd. 🎻🎼 Save the date and join us for this wonderful experience!
