THEY PUT IT ALL IN PLACE. NOW COME SEE HOW IT TURNED OUT!

Installing 13 new sculptures takes skill, precision and plenty of teamwork. Our installation team was led by Mike Sohikian and included sculptors and experienced art handlers Jim Taylor and Richard Maurer. Jeremy Hurst expertly operated the telehandler throughout the installation.

As curator, I could not ask for a more capable team, and I want to personally thank each of them for the care and expertise they brought to every installation.

These pictures show just part of what it took to put the completely new collection into place. Come see the results at Woodlands Park on Labor Day, Monday, September 7! Celebrate the opening with a live concert by Hepcat Revival beginning at 4:00 p.m., followed by a curator-led tour of the Sculpture Walk at 6:00 p.m.

ANOTHER NEW SCULPTURE IS ON ITS WAY TO PERRYSBURG!
Mark your calendar for the Sixth Annual Perrysburg Sculpture Walk Community Opening on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, at Woodlands Park. The afternoon begins with a children's sculpture creation station at 3:30 p.m., followed by live music from Hepcat Revival at 4:00 p.m. and a curator-led tour of the new Sculpture Walk at 6:00 p.m.
Sneak Peek #2 takes us inside the Lancaster, South Carolina studio of sculptor Bob Doster, where something has been growing.

Created specifically for the Sixth Annual Perrysburg Sculpture Walk, Sunflowers With Daisies has been taking shape piece by piece in Doster's studio. Tall stems and oversized leaves and flowers constructed petal by petal in stainless steel come together in a sculpture inspired by one of the most familiar sights of summer.
These behind-the-scenes photo show its journey from individual pieces of steel in the studio to a completed grouping of larger-than-life flowers loaded into Bob Doster's truck.
The Sixth Annual Perrysburg Sculpture Walk is getting closer. We can't wait for you to see what else is coming!
