Beautiful female zebra swallowtail in Maryland. There was also a male, but I didn't capture him on film.

I was fortunate enough to go field herping with a friend in Maryland. We found a brown skink, a ground skink, eastern box turtles, coastal plains milk snakes, a black racer, a red bellied snake, a garter snake, numerous worm snakes, a ring neck snake, and an eastern chain kingsnake, which chomped on my arm. My friend Mike said, "You are the only girl I know that smiles while she is getting bitten by a snake. 😂

I love visiting other facilities across the U.S.. Besides beautiful gardens and animals, Reptile Gardens in South Dakota had the most AMAZING gift shop! If you are in the area, this place is a must stop!! Kim Anderson
