Excellent job to all 32 band and choir students who participated in the HOIAC fine arts festival today at Nevada High School. They put on an incredible concert after a long day of hard work putting the music together!

Today was the busiest day of the year for the Perry High School Band because we hosted the 42nd annual Perry Band Olympics!! Our school hosted nearly 1000 solo and ensemble entries from 10 schools in Iowa and we had 18 phenomenal adjudicators from around that state willing to take a Saturday to provide this wonderful educational experience for these students!

We also unveiled a special banner to officially name the event the Kinney-Cook Perry Band Olympics to honor the two directors who made this event what it is today!

A special shoutout to our event sponsors Perry Fareway and Perry Dominos for providing much of the food sold in our concession stand!

And lastly thank you to the directors at the participating schools for bringing their students to this awesome event!
