The instrumental music composition for band pays tribute to the memories of student Ahmir Jolliff and Principal Dan Marburger and extends a spirit of support and hope from the entire Iowa Instrumental Music Community. Free reserved seating tickets for the concert will be available on March 29.

The Iowa Bandmasters Association announces the Iowa Bandmasters Association Perry Commission Project. This project aims to commission a new piece of band music by composer Michele Fernandez, honoring the resilience of the people of Perry, Iowa as they continue to grieve and recover from the tragic events of January 4, 2024. The composition will commemorate and honor the memories of Ahmir Joliff (student) and Dan Marburger (principal), who lost their lives on that day.
