Saturday night at Wyoming County International Speedway — The BullRing was about more than racing. It was about remembering and celebrating the legacy of Laverne Pangrazio and the mark he left on our local racing community. ❤️

Laverne’s racing career began in 1962, and over the years he built quite the résumé. He captured championships in 1964, 1965 and 1966, along with numerous runner-up finishes, and became a fan favorite throughout his racing career.

Laverne raced and emerged victorious in the Mini Stock World Race held at Daytona.

But perhaps the greatest part of Laverne’s story is the family racing legacy that followed him. What started with Laverne grew into generations of family members becoming involved in racing and carrying that passion forward. 🏁

We were proud to spend the night remembering a racer whose history is forever a part of this sport.

A HUGE thank you to Dave Gleason, the Camp Family, the Vogler Family, Cole’s Custom Hauling, and the Pangrazio/Farnsworth Family for generously adding to the purse for our racers. Your support helped make this memorial even more special!

And thank you to every driver, crew member, family member and fan who came out to celebrate Laverne’s life and racing legacy with us.

What an incredible night at The BullRing as we celebrated Racer Reunion Night, proudly sponsored by RearEnd Specialists & Fleet Maintenance, Inc.

From former drivers and officials reconnecting with old friends to another exciting night of racing, it was a great evening honoring the history of Wyoming County International Speedway while creating new memories on the track.
