Y’all. .lee.knits’s Mermaid Avenue Socks is so good.

I’m obsessed. Finding a textured knitting pattern that looks good and stands out with a variegated yarn can be hard! I love the way the stitched scales pop AND my colors pop 😍

The repeat is simple and easy to memorize with a big payoff. I get the feeling I’ll be knitting this pattern more than once…

The cats are not allowed to come near yarn stock, but I didn’t properly close the door when I was photographing so Gazpacho decided he needed to help. He is a very good and helpful boy.

He wasn’t allowed to touch the yarn though and that displeased him.
