โ๏ธ days down, โ๏ธ to go โ and there has already been SO much creating!!!โฃ

We started with ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐จ๐ค, exploring perspective, shape + color and creating our own wonderfully unexpected portraits.โฃ

Today we moved into ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐ค๐๐, using line, movement, texture + color to explore how an artist can actually make us feel something through their work.โฃ

And the thing I love most? Weโre not just making art.โฃ
โฃ
Weโre looking. Talking. Playing. Experimenting. Learning about the artists. Trying new materials. Making choices. Changing our minds. And figuring out how to take an idea and make it completely our own.โฃ

Next up: ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ค + watercolor, followed by ๐๐ค๐๐๐ง๐ฉ ๐๐๐ช๐จ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐ + printmaking, collage and mixed media to finish out our week.โฃ

I put so much thought into every little layer of these camp days, and watching all of those pieces come together once the kids walk through the door is pretty special. ๐ฅนโฃ
