Our Primary dance area is Perry Hall but we have children from many areas of Baltimore County and Harford County. Perry Hall Dance Program starts the end of September and continues to mid May followed by a recital. Dance classes are Monday through Thursday at several local schools. Classes are ballet, pointe, tap, jazz/hiphop, contemporary. Students are assigned by age (3 and up) and experience. A
typical class might be: 1 hr per week – ballet and tap – fee is $170 for the entire year, payable in advance of the first lesson. Our teaching staff have a variety of dance backgrounds and are dedicated to the children they are teaching. Each class has a teacher and an assistant. Dance shoes can be purchased at stores like Payless. There are many places to purchase Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and black jazz shoes . Dance clothing is also sold at stores like Target. are not permitted to stay in classroom during lessons. Parents may wait in lobby or leave and return to pick up student at end of class. Children are measured for recital costumes in early fall. A costume is ordered for each dance your child will be performing in the recital. The average costume cost for children is $40 per costume, and $55 per costume for adult sizes. A $50 costume deposit is due at the time of measuring. A bill will be given to parent in January for the balance due. Dance Recitals are held at Perry Hall High School.
