Create your very own handmade sketchbook from start to finish. Explore the fundamentals of simple bookbinding techniques and learn how to select and prepare materials, fold and assemble pages, and bind everything together into a beautiful, functional book. Leave with a one-of-a-kind sketchbook made by hand, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue making more on your own! All materials are provided to make a 4” x 5” sketchbook/journal.

This summer, challenge your creative self by drawing portraits and figures from live models!

Our non-instructional portrait and figure drawing (or painting if you prefer) sessions provide a welcoming atmosphere for all levels to create, learn and connect. Whether you are new or experienced, enjoy the challenge of working from the live model. The session monitor will assist in guiding the model in a long format pose. This studio is designed for participants 18 and older.

Please bring your drawing or painting materials of choice; easels (12), drawing horses (5) and drawing boards (10) are available for use on a first come, first served basis.

Portrait & Figure sessions are offered twice each month (2nd and 4th Sundays) from June–August. All sessions are held on Sundays from 12–3pm; studio doors open at 11:40pm. SESSION LIMIT: 12

Treat yourself! This Saturday, take a little time for yourself and join our How to Paint Florals workshop from 1-4pm with Cassaundra Flor. Flowers make us happy and painting them can make us even happier, right?!?

💐Designed for all levels, learn how to approach painting a floral arrangement in oils. We’ll begin with a live demo covering how to start your painting, with a focus on composition, design, and capturing light and shadow. From there, you’ll be guided through understanding color relationships and how to use color effectively. You’ll then have plenty of time to work at your own pace, applying these concepts as you paint a beautiful floral arrangement with individualized guidance throughout. *A basic understanding of how to use oil paints is recommended.

📢 We’re less than 6 weeks away from the start of my faaaaaavorite time of the year — SUMMER ART CAMPS! 🙌🏼

🎨 This is my 6th year offering 8 weeks of summer camps and I simply love the energy of the campers!💥And especially how engaged they are in learning something new, practicing something known, making new friends and seeing old ones!

🤩 New camps are offered each week from mid-June thru mid-August and meet either in the morning or the afternoon. Campers ages 5-15 can draw, paint, illustrate and sculpt — depending on which camp you choose.

‼️ But be warned… open seats are dwindling quickly! Sign up today and don’t miss out!
