At "Screaming Eagles" We are a Club of several area and out of area "AMA" dues paying members and we have current membership ranging in ages from below 10 to above 70. Our club offers talent in all aspects of R/C Flight from Nitro,Gas, Electric, Large Scale, Small Scale, Combat, Helicopter, Quad Rotor, 3D, "Buddy Boxing" with Club purchased aircraft and designated Trainer Pilots and basically anyt

hing else you can bring to the field! We are safety conscious, we are constantly looking for new ideas and current trend developments, and we are compliant with "AMA" requirements, rules, and standards and have an elected group of Club Board of Members to ensure all standards are met! We are an "AMA" structurally compliant club with safety being a priority and strict dedication to improvement of our craft and diligence to making this the best and foremost hobby experience and/or endeavor that old and new members can both enjoy and experience. In true "Screaming Eagles" motto, we say "Fly Em Like You Stole Em." Membership welcome and please inquire with those listed on this page...AND remember to hit your "Like" button if you are a Facebook user! We Fly during designated Mondays and Wednesdays from 4pm to Dusk or any other date/time weather permitting and there has to be at least 2 Club Members and AMA Membership current dues paid members present! If you are interested in this hobby and are not a member, please contact a member of this Club to arrange a flight time/date if outside of the normal hours of operation!

It's been a really weird year and then some folks! Pretty much crickets here at Perham RC! It appears Winter is beginning to fade and with those clocks jumping ahead (as of last weekend) the days are shining brighter and longer and with Spring season officially underway, we are hoping to resume flying season at the field sooner than later! Annual club meeting pending with arrival of seasonal club snowbirds and fingers crossed with annual "Screamin Eagles" Fun Fly scheduling! Stay tuned for updates! "Screamin Eagles UPDATE: Post Annual Perham RC Club Meeting and votes taken from Club Officers and members in attendance, We will NOT be hosting our typical and annual 2020 Club Fun Fly 3rd weekend in June this year! Possible re-visit of other possibilities for a modified event in the 2020 Autumn season (possibly in September 2020 or later and maybe not at all this year). Stay tuned for updates as they occur.

Sorry Folks! Preliminary and NOT final decision until we hold our annual club meeting, but it appears that due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, our annual "Fun Fly" (typically scheduled on the 3rd weekend in June during annual "Turtle-Fest" in Perham) is not happening this year! Tentatively, "Screamin Eagles" Perham R/C has decided to extend this event and possibly host later in the season based upon a collective decision of "E-Discussion" with collective Club Officers and Members and in the interests of "Social Distancing" recommendations. As of this point, we will continue to monitor the future allowances and hope to host a modified event possibly in the latter Autumn season of this year! Stay tuned for further updates as we are all progressing through this one day at a time! Stay healthy everyone (or do what you can)! Updates pending!

It's been a year of transition on every level it seems folks! Despite the "Crickets" with this club, Perham RC is still alive and silently gearing towards the flying season! The annual "Fun-Fly" (3rd weekend of June 2020) will happen and updates will come after April 2020 when we have our annual club meeting to coordinate events! We are waiting for club "Snow-Birds" to return home, we will re-group, re-boot, and hopefully have pending details soon! Stay tuned and until then, the field is currently melting, "Punxsutawney Phil" has made the prediction of an early Spring, and our February has been awesome! Given Phil's track record, he's historically wrong, but this Winter has been way better than last year, and I speak for all when I say that flying season is approaching! Charge your batteries, refresh your tanks, tweak your aircraft, repair your old builds, finish your new builds and get ready to "Fly 'em' like you stole 'em!' 2020 Perham RC is making preparations, we have a new "Buddy Box" trainer airplane to add and we will update with pending details on all!
