Spring is almost here and it’s a perfect time to take a drive to Pepin, Wisconsin, on the Great River Road. Cozy in for the weekend at any of the great lodging options in town – Pepin is not short on charming Airbnb accommodations! Here are just a few of some upcoming events around and just outside of town:

• On Saturday, Beavers with Shipwreckt feat. Rich Casey will be playing at RiverTime Wine-Beer-Amusements at 7:30 pm

• Up the road in Stockholm, there’s a St. Patty’s Day parade at 2 p.m. on Saturday presented by Humble Moon Folkstead & Saloon. Following the parade, they’re having live music and a Beard & Moustache contest. On Sunday, they’re hosting an Irish-inspired family style brunch from 10-1.

• Down the road in Nelson, a new spring drink menu just debuted at Township 23 Distillery

• Further down the road in Wabasha, MN, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day parade at noon on Saturday and lots of other Irish fun.

If you can’t make it this weekend, March 21 is the long-awaited spring opening of the Harbor View Cafe in Pepin!
