Back at Knockouts for another round of the Viva Series. Two QSC KW153 tops per side sitting on stacked KW181 subs, which is more than enough to move air in a room this size and still leave headroom for the resident DJs to work with. Concrete floor, hard back wall, tropical decor everywhere. Fun room to tune. Rose Audio handled PA and lighting end to end. Twenty years of community impact deserves a proper soundtrack. We brought out the QSC K-series rig and X32 Rack for the North Suburban YMCA's annual fundraiser in Northbrook, and South of 80 delivered exactly what a room full of donors needed, tight, punchy rock that got people out of their seats without blowing out the silent auction tables. The red wash lighting didn't hurt either. This is the kind of gig we love. Community events that actually mean something, done right. Rose Audio handled full production. Basecamp was absolutely rocking this weekend. Fast Fashion had the whole place dancing, and that packed floor is exactly why you fly a PA instead of stacking it. QSC KLA12s hung from the ceiling structure, Behringer X32 at FOH, lasers and purple wash turning the room into something special. There's nothing quite like watching a crowd this dialed in from behind the console. This is the work we love doing.
