That’s a wrap for Guns n Grub Event
Event organizers should support event organizers. And sometimes, the best opportunities come from stepping outside your own event. 🤝
I had the opportunity to attend Guns & Grub in Kankakee, and it was a great reminder of just how many different communities and businesses can come together through events.
There was education, demonstrations, food, shopping, networking, and plenty of opportunities to connect with people who are passionate about what they do.
As an event host for Ink’D Arts Fest, I wasn’t just there to attend—I was there to connect. I met vendors, business owners, educators, and other people doing some pretty cool things, and of course I couldn’t help but tell them about what we’re building with Ink’D. 😉
That’s one of my favorite parts of producing events: creating unexpected crossover opportunities. A fi****ms event and an art/tattoo festival might seem like completely different worlds, but great vendors, small businesses, and entrepreneurs often have audiences that overlap in ways you wouldn’t expect.
And I got to have some fun while I was networking! 😂
I had the chance to shoot a few of Phoenix Trinity and even won a Gideon Optics for my fi***rm! 🎯 I’m looking forward to putting it to work and seeing if it helps improve my accuracy.
Whether you’re a fi***rm enthusiast or simply gun curious, Guns & Grub Event created a safe space that offered a chance to learn, ask questions, see demonstrations, and explore responsible fi***rm ownership—including how you might want to prepare to protect your homefront.
That’s what local events are supposed to do: bring people together, create connections, and open doors to something you might not have discovered otherwise.
And you never know… you might see some of these new faces at Ink’D Arts Fest. 👀🖤
