Our amazing Box Office Manager & Bookkeeper, Sam Shafer, is bidding us farewell!

Sam has been a staple of the Corn Stock family for the past four years. Since joining us in 2022, Sam has helped countless patrons with their ticketing needs, kept our finances in ship-shape, sewn countless costumes, and done so much more behind the scenes to help make Corn Stock what it is.

We will miss her infectious spirit more than we can say. Please join us in thanking Sam for all of her hard work, dedication, and the countless ways she has contributed to our theatre family and wishing her all the best as she takes some much-needed time to focus on her health and well-being.

Every wish. Every choice. Every character. Every story has led them here.

In Into the Woods, beloved fairy tales collide, wishes come true, and the consequences of those wishes begin to unfold. Cinderella, Jack, Little Red, Rapunzel, the Baker and his Wife, the Witch, and everyone they meet discover that happily ever after isn’t always the ending we imagined.

Prince Charming and Rapunzel’s Prince may seem like they have everything figured out. They are handsome, confident, and destined for their happily ever after. But even princes have a journey through the woods. As they search for the women they believe will complete their stories, they discover that love, desire, and happily ever after are far more complicated than a fairy tale makes them seem. Along the way, the two brothers reveal plenty about themselves and provide some of the woods’ funniest moments!

High above the woods, Rapunzel has spent her life hidden away, dreaming of a world beyond her tower. But her story is deeply intertwined with the Witch who raised her, a complicated relationship shaped by love, fear, protection, and control. As Rapunzel longs for freedom and the Witch struggles to let her go, their journey reveals that sometimes love means holding on… and sometimes it means learning when to let go. In Into the Woods, every story has another side.

"...nothin's gonna change if you don't change it..."

Dolly Parton didn’t simply accept the world as it was. She changed it, with music, generosity, courage, and a whole lot of rhinestones. She turned humble beginnings into a life dedicated to giving others a chance to dream bigger.

She reminds us that you don’t have to change the whole world at once. Sometimes you change it one song, child, book, one act of kindness at a time. Dolly has shown us that success means so much more when you use it to lift others up.

So, if you don’t like something? Change it, and while you’re at it, leave the world a little brighter than you found it. Thank you Dolly 💛🦋
