DC Dance Co Peoria Center for the Performing Arts Resident Dance Company Various styles of dance are taught in each class.

As a member of DC Dance each student will learn various forms of dance including: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Modern. We strive to challenge each student to exceed their level of performance.*

In addition, you will also learn to explore the creative world of choreography, increase flexibility, balance, and work in group settings. A typical class consists of warm-ups, local motors, cente

r work. Weekly classes focus on choreographed dances for the annual summer performance. If you have any suggestions or concerns that will enhance your family’s experience this season please don’t hesitate to speak with the DC Dance Director, Denise (DD) Cottingham.

*Each class is set up according to age groups with all levels of experience.
*Placement of dancers will be at the directors discretion.

Hey there 👋🏼 We are happy to announce our 23/24 dance season will start Monday September 18th! We are also excited to announce we are back to having classes two days a week 💃🏼🕺🏾

Did you know we are offering ✌🏼 workshops Monday Aug 21st!!?!?!

🩰Dance 101 offers those who have 1 year or less experience in dance or those who would like a refresher, the opportunity to go over dance basics like feet positions, how to turn properly and the difference between a leap and a jump.

🩰Advanced Ballet is offered as an intro to pointe class and gives those who are ready to take their ballet to the next level an opportunity to do so.
