Studios on Sheridan is one exciting part of the Sunbeam Building at 925-933 N Sheridan in Peoria. It is located on Sheridan Road near the corner of West Main St and N Sheridan Rd. directly behind Broken Tree Coffee. Half way between Bradley University and Downtown Peoria and the Peoria Riverfront and Warehouse District. The Sunbeam Building is a renovated 1930’s era warehouse that at one time was

the Sunbeam Bakery. The 22,000 square foot Sunbeam Building houses retail stores as well as Studios on Sheridan. The studios/makers spaces are able to accommodate over twenty artists or small businesses with amenities including abundant natural light, a 700 square foot courtyard in the center of the building, separate gallery space, ADA restrooms and a contemporary loft style atmosphere. We have been sitting on some big news we can finally share today!

ArtsPartners has secured $55,000 in grant funding to expand First Fridays , and Harmonize Peoria (with a little PML magic along for the ride) gets to be part of it!
This means more opportunities for artists, more energy flowing into local businesses, and a First Fridays experience that gives people an actual reason to get off the couch and into their community.
I am so excited to collaborate with ArtsPartners on this. Making Peoria a better place to live is what drives everything I do, and there is nothing better than organizations collaborating do get cool things done!
Big thanks go out to Choose Greater Peoria and the Community Foundation of Central Illinois for believing in this work!

First Friday is back this week! 🎶 ArtsPartners received multiple grants allowing us to take First Fridays in Peoria up a notch. Now, local musicians can apply on our website for paid gigs at local venues.

You get to enjoy live music, support local artists and businesses, and they get to showcase their talent and get compensated for it.

First Fridays Amplified is a major win for the community. Events are free, open to the public, and family friendly. What’s your first stop this weekend?
