We are getting SO close to recital week, and there are a few important things coming up as we head into one of our favorite times of the year!

This week includes:
🧡 Team parent meetings
🩷 Red carpet re-enrollment for current rec + strut dancers
🧡 2027 team auditions
🩷 Dress rehearsal week right around the corner

There are so many exciting things happening at DP right now, and we are soaking in every moment of this season with your dancers. Thank you for trusting us with them, cheering them on, and being part of this studio family. 🫶🏻

Meet our strut 7-8 team 🫶🏻🧡🩷

This team is right in that sweet spot where confidence starts growing, friendships get stronger, and the love for dance gets bigger every week. From working hard in class to cheering each other on, this group brings so much energy, determination, and fun into the studio.

Watching this team grow has been such a joy. The teamwork, the progress, the laughs, the little moments in between… it all matters. 🫶🏻🩷🧡

Senior spotlight Ciana 🫶🏻🤩🩷🧡

Hardworking, supportive, and such a sweet example to our younger dancers. From the stage to helping in littles classes, Ciana has made such an impact at DP.

Q: How many years have you been dancing?
A: I have been dancing for 10 years!

Q: Why did you start dancing?
A: I started dancing because I was always moving to any music as a little kid, and my family thought I would thrive in the dance environment!

Q: What’s your favorite dance style and why?
A: My favorite dance style is lyrical because it is the most emotionally expressive. You can always feel the passion through a lyrical dance, and that is my favorite part.

These next few weeks are going to be busy, exciting, emotional, and full of so many memories!

Weekends like this are a reminder of how much these dancers pour into what they love. 🥹🩷🧡

Early mornings, long days, convention classes, performances, quick changes, sore muscles, and somehow still showing up with good attitudes and full hearts through all of it.

We are so proud of the hard work, growth, commitment, and passion that was poured into this weekend. Not just on stage, but in the way these dancers supported each other, encouraged each other, and kept pushing themselves every single class and performance.

This weekend was a lot… and they handled it beautifully. 🫶🏻🧡🩷

This last week was wrapped in twirls, giggles, and the kind of joy that makes this season feel extra special ✨

From dancing our hearts out to laughing with friends, this last week before the holidays was a beautiful reminder of why this studio means so much to us.

As we look back on this year, we’re feeling incredibly grateful. It’s been a year full of growth, hard work, friendships, and so many joyful moments shared together. Watching our dancers show up, support one another, and find confidence through dance has been such a gift.

We’re so thankful for every dancer, every family, and every moment that made this year what it was. These are the memories that stay with us -the smiles, the sparkle, and the sense of community that makes our studio feel like home.

As we head into the holiday season and prepare for a new year, we hope everyone gets time to rest, celebrate, and enjoy moments that fill their hearts. We can’t wait to be back together soon and see what the next year brings ✨🤍

Teaching ballet technique in a way dancers can actually feel makes all the difference.
This week in ballet class, Mrs. Abby used a simple tactile cue, yes spaghetti, to help our dancers understand what straight legs really mean. When dancers can feel their alignment, corrections click faster and confidence grows.

She loves finding creative, age-appropriate ways to teach strong ballet foundations like leg extension, control, and body awareness. Technique isn’t about perfection, it’s about understanding your body and building strength one layer at a time.

Little tools, big progress, and dancers who are learning to move with intention 🫶🏻🧡🩷
