MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!
I want to thank W.E. Sullivan's Irish Pub and Fare for being excellent Music Bingo hosts and I can’t wait to see what their next chapter holds. The Beatles Music Bingo will be my last one there. Stay tuned to find out where my vibes will be next.
When life gives you lemons, make a Jameson Shake Up….
After opening in 2016- we had no idea what the coming years would bring. The “old guard” who knew Sully and missed his legacy came out and gave us love and grace. New patrons turned into regulars who turned into friends; employees became family. We survived the pandemic. We pivoted, learned and grew. It is no secret that the restaurant industry has been hit hard these last few years. Cost of goods, payroll increase, utilities, and rent have risen astronomically, making it harder for local, independent restaurants to thrive.
We cannot thank the community of Peoria Heights enough for the years of support. Billy and I have taken great care, time and thought into this decision- staying at this location is no longer viable for our business, so the time has come for a new adventure!
With that said, W.E.Sullivan’s will cease operations at this location on April 18th.
Soooooo, come enjoy the next month with us!
Tell us your stories of first dates that turned into marriages, wedding rehearsals that made memories, beer dinners where you formed new friendships, come eat your ‘go to’ Sullivan’s sandwich, talk with your favorite server, get that pint of Guinness from Hogan and Ritterbusch like you have since 2016- and say goodbye to this location with us.
It makes our hearts happy knowing that we provided a version of “Cheers” for the community, as the Sullivan family has since the late 70’s.
Don’t miss, a free performance by current Thin Lizzy front man -Ricky Warwick on March 12th, our Pre-St. Patrick’s Day Brunch on the 15th, and of course the St. Patrick’s Day Street Party as we celebrate our heritage and legacy!
Locations change; spirits stay the same. Making a Shake Up is what we are going to do! There's always something on the other side of the rainbow, right?!
With love and gratitude,
Billy, Lauren and the staff of W.E.Sullivan’s
