I recently created a logo for an emerging roofing and exteriors service in the Peoria area. The company was founded by a group of former police officers and is named to signify their continued commitment to protecting their community. Swipe to check it out >

Swipe to see what I’ve been up to over the last few weeks>

Inspired by the iconic corner where Cornerstone Inn resides, this logo re-design is light, airy, and clean.

Cornerstone Inn is a recently renovated BNB located in the town square in Washington, IL. This re-design incorporates both the historical aspect of the building through the illustration of the exterior, and the renovated aspect through the use of the transitional typeface (Georgia) and refreshing brand colors.

Check out iconic building feature that inspired the design and original logo in the last two photos👀

Check out this fun campaign I made for an upcoming inclusive career summit!

The audience is high school-age students, so the concept was meant to be kept fun and exciting. I integrated this concept by designing the campaign like a retreat and allowing for element expansion in future years.

To start, I focused on creating a logo that was fun, but still had a clean look. To do this, I wanted to incorporate imagery within the logo and focused on relationship between the double “m’s” in the word “summit.” I designed the “m’s” with an upward motion, similar to an increase arrow, to subtly suggest the advancements the career summit can help the attendees achieve. To continue developing this fun but clean look, I paired this design with a sans-serif font.

After I created the logo, I continued to utilize the literal meaning of the word summit, and created various mountain-themed designs. I chose to make the sky look like dawn to convey the beginning of the next steps in the attendees careers.

I later refined those designs to the minimal design above for scalability purposes. The design can be easily manipulated to fit various needs such as social media posts and presentations. Along with scalability, the elements within the design (like the mountains) can also live on their own if needed.
