I tend to be a bit crafty a decided to try out making ceramic tile coasters as a fun a photo gift (of our dogs of course), not only did I enjoy the creative process, but everyone loved them! With some encouragement from friends and family, here I am transforming photos and making beautiful and fun keepsakes.

Before I have enough photo tiles of our dogs to redo our kitchen backsplash, I figured and Etsy shop was in order. I'd like to welcome you to Blurred Vista Design (named after one of the inspirations for my first project; our visually impaired, sweet rescue dog, Winnie the German shepherd. She may see through blurry eyes, but she is a vision both inside and out). And you will likely see a lot of her on here. She's just too cute to not use as a model!

I personally create each coaster using your photo and can work with most images (including screen shots), but high resolution is preferred. I edit images into new versions such as a cartoon, a sketch, black and white, neon colors…the options are endless. I am also happy to use your memory just as it was with no editing.

These are great gifts for any occasion, wedding, engagement, anniversary, baby, family, graduation, new home, memorial, or just for fun!

All coasters are made from 4x4 ceramic tile, high quality photo paper, and coated with FDA approved, water and weather resistant resin. (Although resin is water resistant, tiles should be wiped clean with a damp cloth and never placed in the dishwasher or submerged in water. Resin is a weather resistant material, that should not yellow, however, it is recommended that the coasters not be placed in direct sunlight as yellowing could occur).
