What an amazing week with Waitress in Peoria! As the tour moves on, we’re reflecting on the incredible impact these talented Broadway artists made in our community. Our gratitude to Makaira Fisk and Kyle Channell for generously sharing their time and expertise as they led our Staging the Future Mock Audition Masterclass at Arts Inc. A huge thank-you to Arts Inc. for hosting. It was heartwarming to see their students perform, learn, and gain valuable insights from these inspiring theatre professionals. It was a memorable experience for all.
We’re so grateful to the Broadway touring artists of Waitress for sharing their talents both on and off the stage. A heartfelt thank-you to the American Theatre Guild team, the Peoria Civic Center, and especially the Gilmore Foundation for sponsoring this workshop and helping make these meaningful learning opportunities possible.
Thank you for investing in our students, inspiring future artists, and making this such a memorable week for Peoria!
