Best of the Coast 2026

Inweekly Best Maker/Artisan. How cool is that?!

Pottery has given me so much more than I could have ever expected. It’s given me a creative life I really love and get to share, introduced me to so many wonderful people, and made me feel incredibly lucky to get to call Pensacola home.

This year, all of your support feels especially meaningful as I get ready to open the doors to Rooted | Pensacola

For years, so many of you have shown up for my work. You’ve brought my pottery into your homes, you’ve taken workshops and made pieces of your own, you’ve told your friends about me, and you’ve come back again and again. Now I get to take all of this support and build a space of my own, where we can gather around a (quite large) table and make things together.

Thank you for voting for me, for valuing handmade, and for continuing to show up for local makers.

I’m feeling incredibly lucky 🫶

Update from the kiln shed.

A little behind this week due to some kiln issues, but we’re rolling with it and hopeful to be back on track soon. 🤞

Thanks for sticking with me. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Some of my favorite memories with my mom look a lot like this.

Sitting around a table, hands fiddling and making, talking about everything and nothing.

She’s the one who encouraged me to create and play, who let me paint my bedroom walls on a whim, hot glue gun always at the ready, make messes, experiment, and trust my own ideas.

Long before pottery, she was shaping the way I move through the world.

And funnily enough, the table we’re sitting at here is the exact table I grew up crafting at. My parents were kind enough to let Nathan and I bring it with us when we moved into our home in Pensacola. Somehow it feels really special that years later, we’re still sitting around it making things together.

If you’re celebrating a mother or motherly figure this weekend, I hope you get a little time together. Maybe around a table, maybe over coffee, maybe with something handmade in your hands.
