HizashiCon welcomes the wonderful Kylo (｡♥‿♥｡) back to our cosplay stage!
Kyloquinn has been cosplaying since 2012 and has loved every moment of it! Kylo specializes in video game cosplays and is self taught in sewing and prop making. Their favorite part about conventions is hosting panels and running meetups.

“I started to get curious about cosplay around late 2018 and ever since I put on my first cosplay and wig, I knew that I wanted to pursue it more than just “A phase”. Now almost 7 1/2 years later I’m still enjoying what I love and sharing my knowledge of cosplaying and handcrafting curated costumes with other cosplayers alike!”

The HizashiCon Schedule is finally here! You can see each highlighted event, location, and times.
Day 1 - Giant Robot Documentary Screening and Q&A with 309 Punk Project (free to HizashiCon pass holders for any day)
And Trivia Coastal Cat Cafe (entry TBD)
Day 2 - Convention Day and Concert to conclude! (Weekend and Saturday pass holders)
Day 3 - Brunch Coastal Cat Cafe (there will be two sessions, one at 10:00 AM and another at 11:30 AM, tickets for each brunch session will be available on Coastal Cat Cafe's website).
Convention Day at 1:00 PM to conclude at 6:00 PM (Weekend and Sunday pass holders).

Tickets are LIVE! To celebrate, we are running a special giveaway. The first 50 unique ticket orders will receive an original HizashiCon reusable sticker journal upon entry to the convention.
All ticket prices include processing fees. There are three types of tickets: General Admission, Student & JAS, and Children 10 & Under. All individuals enrolled in a K-12 or college program enjoy the student discount. Children 10 & Under are FREE.

Coming to Foo Foo Festival 2026: Lightspill.

Imagine looking up and seeing hundreds of mirrored spheres flowing over one of Downtown Pensacola's most historic buildings, turning the Artel Gallery into a stunning work of public art.

This is going to be one of those "you have to see it in person" moments, and we can't wait to share it with you. Stay tuned: this is a rendering and we'll be sharing more details as our giant Lightspill starts to take shape through the work of local design team, Razor's Edge Design and Jared Petticrew.

➡️Foo Foo Fest happens this fall from Oct. 29-Nov. 9. Friends of Downtown is grateful to Foo Foo Festival and ACE Pensacola for enabling us to bring projects like this one to Downtown Pensacola for you to enjoy!

HizashiCon is thrilled to announce our third and final voice talent, Kyle McCarley!
Kyle McCarley is a voice actor based out of Los Angeles and a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Theatre. You can hear his voice in anime, video games, cartoons and more!
Some of his notable credits include the lead roles of 9S in NieR: Automata, the hit action game; Yoshiko Tsujinaka in The Summer Hikaru Died; and Mob in Mob Psycho 100.

HizashiCon 's 3rd Cosplay Contest is officially open for entries! There are three categories: Junior's Competition, Adult Competition, and Masquerade Fashion Walk.
In the competition categories, the cosplay should be at least 50% made or modified. In the fashion walk, the cosplay can be store bought. There is no need for prejudging if you are doing the Masquerade Fashion Walk.
Entries are limited to 20 individuals per category, so sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot. All entrants will receive prejudging information via email.
This year's contest is graciously sponsored by Melody , MocoQueen , and CUT/SEW
Prizes are available at all levels: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Judge's Choice (x3), and Junior's Champion.
