I know Back Porch Comedy is no more and that this page isn’t used anymore, but for anyone that’s still following… we hope that you join many local comedians tomorrow evening for a benefit show in memory of the amazing and hilarious Tony Burkett: the creator of Back Porch Comedy and most of those comedy shows that were at Back Porch Bar (formally known as The Big Easy Tavern and Old Time Tavern). The event is free and will be at Sander’s Beach Resource Center. Wacked Out Weiner food truck will also be there. All donations will go to both Valerie House (grief support for children) and also to a memorial fund in Tony’s name. If you ever came to one of the shows Tony produced and cannot make it, please consider donationing to the Venmo link below.
