Sometimes, the biggest victories don't happen on event day. They happen quietly, in living rooms, on walks, and at veterinary appointments.
Meet Chichi (formerly Chili) and Mozzie—two incredible dogs adopted from the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare who are now receiving treatment for heartworm disease with their new families. ❤️🐾
Heartworm-positive dogs often spend longer in shelters because of the cost and commitment their treatment requires. That's exactly why Pensacola Paw-di Gras chose to make heartworm treatment one of our missions.
Because our community shows up. Because our sponsors believe in what we're building. Because our vendors choose to be part of something bigger than a single day.
Because of you, these dogs get a second chance.
This year alone, we've helped sponsor treatment for more than 20 heartworm-positive dogs, giving families the support they need to say "yes" to adoption instead of walking away because of the expense.
This is why we do Pensacola Paw-di Gras.
