Our spring semester classes are thriving!

Drama Clubhouse has had an eventful spring! In February, they learned how to set, spike, and strike scenery. They also learned about theatrical lighting and even designed their own gobos! This month, they dipped their toes into musical theatre. Needless to say, these kiddos are super excited for April!

Meanwhile, our Little League Players cast of The Wizard of Oz (30 Minute Version) are in the middle of their rehearsal process. They’ve been learning stage directions, how to work as an ensemble, and they can’t wait to perform for their friends and family!

Our Youth Theatre League is gearing up for our first big musical, The Wizard of Oz! After months of rehearsals, students are finessing choreo, trying on costumes and getting mic’d up! Tickets to The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition are on sale now! Get yours at the link in bio.

Our advanced thespians in ITS recently attended the Florida State Thespian Festival, receiving EXCELLENT scores across the board! Now that State is behind is, they’re beginning rehearsals for our spring one-act, Masterclasses:

We are so proud of Jada, who recently took the stage as Catherine Parr in PLT’s Six: Teen Edition! 👑

Miss Kayla (Executive Director) had the honor of coaching her through the audition process, and watching her growth was nothing short of incredible. Here’s what Jada’s mom had to say:

“My daughter was so excited to hear about auditions for a local production of one of her favorite shows, but since she had never auditioned for a theater role before, she felt like being selected as part of the cast was impossible. In just a few short weeks of audition coaching with Miss Kayla, my daughter greatly improved her performance skills, confidently completed a very competitive audition process, and was cast into the production in her dream role!

Miss Kayla’s coaching sessions were organized, focused, motivating, and included clear, detailed next steps, and because of her warm and welcoming personality, the sessions were also fun and exciting! My daughter and I are so grateful for Miss Kayla.”

We love celebrating our students’ wins, onstage and beyond!
