North Bay Performing Arts Center offers instruction in classic Ballet, Pointe, Pas de Deux, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Gypsy dance. Marcella Contessi Smith, who founded the Contessi Ballet School 37 years ago, created North Bay Performing Arts Center. NBPAC has highly talented, professionally trained and experienced teachers in th

e performing arts. We are proud of the excellent reputation we have built and are dedicated to maintaining high quality training at our school. Instruction methods and techniques are based on the firm belief that every student has something to offer and learning should be fun and exciting! It is important that each student develop a sense of self confidence and self-esteem. We recognize the potential in each child and work very hard to assist the students in developing to their fullest.
