The Mola Lady

The Mola Lady Molas are the hand stitched art of the Kuna Indians. They are panels of decorated material made in pairs for clothing and decorations.

'The Mola Lady" was established as a business with all the profits being donated to the mission. The Molas business requires me to return to the island(s) each year to buy Molas and to check up on the mission (e.g. students, feeding centers). By the time my visit to

the islands is done each trip I will have traveled to 7 islands, where I am greeted at each dock by a crowd of women waving blouses.
