The Arts Center supports and promotes the arts in Yates County through activities such as exhibits, events, studio tours, art sales, performances, plays, workshops, and activities for residents and visitors of all ages. As the Holiday Season begins to approach us, we hope you will join us for a fun creative workshop in our “Gift Giving” series! These classes will help you prepare for the holidays by teaching you how to make unique, thoughtful gifts that your loved ones are sure to cherish. Love the beauty of the Finger Lakes? You’ll find plenty to admire in the 2026 Penn Yan Art Guild Show.

Featuring beautiful work created by local artists, the show has something for every taste—and more than a few pieces you might find yourself wishing you had a wall for.

The show is open now through October 31.

Join us tomorrow, Friday, September 25, for the opening reception and meet the artists behind the work while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and local beverages.

The results are in!

Congratulations to the winners of the Arts Center’s 10th annual National Juried Show!

This year‘s exhibition drew 247 paintings from artists in seven states, with 60 works by 58 artists selected for the show.

1st Place: “Lev”—Victoria Brace
2nd Place: “Western Wanderings 2”—Lisa Rachel Hupf
3rd Place: “Densmore Barn”—Joni Mack Monroe
4th Place: “Summer Storm”—John Nyquist
Honorable Mention: “ My Life in Matches”—Tracie Doerner
Honorable Mention: “Violets & Snow”—Michael Johnston
Honorable Mention: “Allusions 1”—Elizabeth Berry
Honorable Mention: “Ice on the Namakagon River”—Lisa Buonocore

Who will take top honors at this year’s Juried Show? 🎨

The Arts Center’s 10th Annual Juried Show opens August 11, featuring selected works from 60 artists across the country and beyond. With awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and runners-up, the excitement builds as we get closer to revealing this year’s winners.

Browse the accepted artwork online, pick your favorites, and then join us for the Opening Reception Wednesday, August 12 to celebrate the artists and find out which works receive top honors.

Awards will be selected by nationally recognized artist George Van Hook, who brings decades of experience and a celebrated career in landscape, figure, and still-life painting.

Everyone is welcome — whether you’re an artist, an art collector, or simply someone who loves discovering beautiful work.
