This flag was one of the most personal flags we have made. Two of my kids helped me make this for their teacher. It was given to her, by her family, as a Christmas gift in 2023. Jordan was officially in remission after a valiant fight against Ovarian Cancer. As cancer often does, it came back. Jordan has shared so many times that awareness is the most important thing that she wants to come out of her fight. Please, please read the warning signs, talk about the warning signs and encourage those you love to advocate for themselves if they have concerns. Thank you Jordan for the lasting impact you made on the lives of our children and so many more. We express our deepest sympathy to your family and all those who love you. You will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

With October just around the corner, we are excited to unveil our 2022 Pink Patch Flag. This custom-made flag by Correctional Officer Mike Schnitzius from Wildwood Custom Flags is 37" x 19 1/2" and is constructed from amazing walnut and pine wood.

We will be raffling off this flag, so you could be the proud winner! The suggested donation for the tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation to be used locally for cancer related services.

You can see the flag up close and personal in our admin lobby, which is where you can also purchase tickets. Tickets are also available at the Grass Valley Police Department , City Police Department and the Police Department.

The winner will be chosen on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Get your tickets today!

I enjoy creating each and every one of our custom flags and this one is extra special. My wife has a legacy of veterans in her family. When her Aunt asked for a flag to honor them, I was honored. On this Veteran’s Day I’d like to thank the heroic men in the McKibben family and all of the women and men who have served our Country well!
