And with that, the 2025-2026 season for the Penfield Symphony Orchestra comes to an end.

The PSO is incredibly grateful for the numerous parties who have supported us. Thank you to the numerous local businesses and sponsors for supporting our season and the raffle at Picnic Pops. Thank you to the Town of Penfield for issuing a wonderful proclamation recognizing the PSO for “decades of music and memories.” And, most importantly, thank YOU, the Penfield community, for joining us and coming to hear live music.

We may be taking a break for the summer, but we’ll be hitting the ground running this fall for our 71st season. Mark your calendars for Magic & Mystery, this October 26th at 7:30 PM at Penfield High School!

Have a safe and fun summer - we hope to see you soon!

It’s a beautiful scene here at the Penfield Amphitheater ☀️ What’s the one thing that could make it better? YOU! 🫵

Bring your favorite blanket and basket to Veterans Memorial Park and join the Penfield Symphony Orchestra tonight at 6:30 PM for Picnic Pops, the end of our 70th anniversary season. George Gershwin’s “An American in Paris” captures the sights of the iconic French capital, as well as the sounds of its bustling streets. He was so inspired that he even wrote in the sound of car horns honking down the Champs-Élysées!

We’re bringing a taste of Paris to Penfield in just a few days at “Picnic Pops” next Tuesday, June 23rd, at 6:30 PM at Penfield Amphitheater at Veterans Memorial Park. Hear some of our favorite tunes from our last concert, some new ones, AND have a chance to learn more about our exciting 2026-2027 season!

It’s quiet… TOO quiet, here at the Penfield Amphitheater at Veterans Memorial Park. We’ll be fixing that in just one week when the Penfield Symphony Orchestra rounds out its 70th anniversary season with “Picnic Pops”!

Admission is FREE and there are no tickets required for this concert. Just bring a seat and be ready for a fun summer evening full of patriotic tunes and works by classic American composers right here in your backyard 😎☀️

Earlier this afternoon, PSO hornist and librarian Steve Landgren gathered community members to join in Taps Across America. This annual event calls on musicians of all skills and ages to honor the brave United States military personnel who have died while serving their country by sounding the twenty four note bugle call at 3:00 PM local time on Memorial Day, bringing together Americans across the country by honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Celebrate the start of the summer season AND the leadup to the 250th anniversary of the United States with this year’s Picnic Pops concert! Join the Penfield Symphony Orchestra at 6:30 PM on June 23rd at the Penfield Amphitheater at Veterans Memorial Park where we’ll reprise some of our most recently performed patriotic repertoire and bring a few new tunes for you to enjoy.

This concert is FREE - just bring your favorite lawn chair and a picnic basket full of your favorite treats!
